I love The Zone Smoke Shop. They always have what I need. I never have to shop around. It is always packed with inventory. The parking lot gets packed because there are other business there.

What happened to this place? Used to be one of the best in Albuquerque but the last time I visited they didn''t have the merchandise they usually have and seems like it turning into more of a smoke shop in which there is already an over abundance of. I used to go out of my way to come here but now I might as well visit the local smoke shop down the road.

They have really great products at standard pricing. 3 stars because the cashier was being rude when I asked him a question. I had bought 2 greeting cards from the 50% off shelf and when I paid the price was more than I anticipated and I was trying to figure out why. On the receipt I was charged for 4 greeting cards they were only $2 so no biggie I was just hoping to grab two more. I told the guy at the register and he explained that the charge was for the envelopes which I assumed came with the card and was included in the price. I said “oh that’s weird most places don’t charge for envelopes” (there was no price sticker on the envelopes only the cards) he replied rudely “ No, most they charge for envelopes everywhere”. Which isn’t true at all I’ve never gotten a card of any kind and been charged for the envelope it’s usually included in the price of the card. I was thrown off by his attitude so I left. The fact that I had to pay for the envelopes wasn’t the issue, he could’ve explained nicely what the charge was for. The cashiers response could’ve been much friendlier. I wasn’t being confrontational. The employee that originally helped me when I walked in was very friendly, helpful, and polite. Maybe the employee could use a refresher on customer service.
