My vape broke while out at a bar around 11pm, so I went here since it was the closest/only 24hr "smoke shop" around, though it''s not so much a smoke shop so much as an array of smoking paraphernalia, vape juices, and vapes on one side of a gas station. I asked to read the back of one of the vape boxes to make sure it was what I wanted, and the clerk took the box over to the register and rang it up before letting me read what it said. Fair enough, I didn''t mind too much. However, before I left I stupidly forgot to check that what was inside matched what was listed on the outside. I got home to find that neither the vape pods nor the drip tip were in the box, and the cashier didn''t even offer a receipt for me to return or exchange it later. Furthermore, the packaging inside the box is already bent in such a way that indicates it was absolutely opened previously, leading me to believe it was intentionally removed for some reason - probably by the seller as the vapes are all kept in a glass display case. I have come to terms with those $25 being squandered in hopes that I can find another shop tomorrow which has the parts I''m missing, though I shouldn''t have to spend more money to pay for the parts that weren''t included as they should have been. Go to a real smoke shop or wait til one opens, don''t roll the dice on shady merchants when you need your late night nic fix. EDIT (3/17/22): Went back in to swap out my device for a new one and Ko - sorry if I''m misspelling - was a great help. He even helped my girlfriend figure out what was wrong with her vape and referred us to another store nearby for parts to fix it. Not sure what the issue was with the first trip, but hopefully it was just an unfortunate fluke.
Went there a tad bit intoxicated, but the dude way over-charged me, I think. 10 dollars (100% sure he charged me that price) for a 2 pack of king palms. I felt pretty stupid the next day. Won''t be returning. *Edited, an employee reached out and offered to make it right, all I needed. I thought the experience was unusual and I''ll chalk it up to being intoxicated. 1 star removed and 4 more go up. I do love that they are open 24hrs.
Watched them sell delta 8 to high school kids, and the clerk claimed they were “regulars.” Meanwhile they denied my 22 year old real ID because it was out of state. Interesting way to handle business.
Alex (I Believe that was his name, sorry if I am mistaken) was amazing. He was very helpful to what I needed, and when there was a little fluke he treated me with amazing customer service. His kindness and business experience reminded me of my father. Whenever I come to Tampa again in the future, I’ll be sure to return back to his store.
Erin makes you feel like part of the family, friendly, polite, accommodating, engaging, charming. These are all necessary qualities of a good retail sales person . Excellent communication skills shine through in aspects of her kava kratom bartender role, including her customer service. Provides a pleasant drinking experience . Serves drinks while maintaining a clean and sanitary bar area. Attends to the detail and presentation of the bar and Prepares great drinks!. I highly recommend Johnny''s when Erin is working.
