Great selection of healthy snacks and not-so-healthy yummy snacks. Clean restroom. Friendly service.
This is the second time that this employee who works graveyard has opened up the door of the women''s restroom and has announced that I have been in there too long which I was not at all and I need you to hurry and get out. I''m from Paso Robles I moved away a while ago but I visit a lot and I travel alone so I can on this bathroom to be available to me so I''m safe. It is so humiliating when she does this and she does not give a s*** I . She assumes I''m homeless but she shouldn''t be talking to anyone she does. And she always blames in on the owner sho isn''t even there. I''m xone with this store and calling corporate
Just left there to stop to put gas in my car today Sunday the 26th 4:00pm I was first told to wait to use the restroom which I did then when the other customer left I entered the bathroom I then noticed the toilet wasn''t flushing right I use my foot to push it down she then rushes in the bathroom tells me "I don''t know how to flush the toilet" she was mean spoken, rude, aggressive, I asked to speak to management n she said rudely she was the manager n refused me to speak to someone in charge I have never been treated so bad in my life no one that rude n mean should work in customer service. As a traveling customer I frequently stop there to gas up but will no longer will be. I only hope real management reads this n takes its customer service serious
I’m giving this place 1 star, and I’m being very nice about it. There is a woman who’s name is Elizabeth who attacked us at the parking lot. We parked for a minute out there, when she came towards my husband who was sitted at the driver’s side. According to this person, we were parked in the wrong spot. My husband apologized and said: “We are leaving now. Sorry about it. We were just changing places but we are leaving”. Then, she started screaming, saying bad words and doing weird gestures with her face, hands and body. Then, she started knocking the window aggressively, trying to scare us. My 1 year daughter who was sleeping, woke up because her inappropriate screams. She and everyone in the car got very scared. She was out of control. Very intimidating. I don’t recommend this place at all especially when you are having a family trip. I really think that the crazy personality of this specific person is not safe for customers.
I worked at this store for about two year recently, the owners do not care for any of there employees. It is a toxic work environment as the employees get harassed constantly by the owners and mistreated. They don''t care for employees health or safety either, they just worry about making money instead. There are countless amount of stories from myself and old fellow employees, and everyone I have worked with admit to feeling uncomfortable and feel they are a target. Unfortunately, many of the great employees are still stuck working here, so they are able to provide for there family and accept the abuse. Few short examples: 1. Pregnant Employee: I was pregnant with my daughter at one point of time working here and I was at high risk of fainting. Talking with the owners about this situation and proof of doctors note they told the other fellow employees. If I am to faint, leave me there and just take over my register to help the customers to act natural. 2. Breastfeeding Mother: When I came back from maternity leave I was still breastfeeding my daughter, so I needed to be able to pump milk for her. The two options I were given to pump was for one the bathroom stall in ladies room. To make it worse no they weren''t going to close it either for privacy, just got told to use one of the stalls. Option two was to use the back storage shed where they kept store products where male employees were constantly going in and out. Both of those areas were uncomfortable due to not wanting to be exposed and also unsanitary for my daughter''s milk. 3. Safety: I have multiple incidents with this problem as do many other continuing employees. One example a regular male customer wouldn''t stop flirting with me. It soon turned into a further issue when he began to stalk me and one point he tried to physically force me in his truck, mind you I was pregnant as well. When the owners were told of what happened because I asked for help having enough after that incident. I was told he is a regular customer just to ignore him and have someone else help him. He is a paying customer to leave him be, just help the customer and continue on. 4. Parking Situation: Under no circumstance you may not park here if you are a fellow employee. Not when I was close to giving birth with my daughter or even work past dark. Another both safety/parking issue was again with another customer stalking me unfortunately. He was another regular customer and I noticed him waiting by my car where I had to park at and I was very uncomfortable. I asked a fellow employee to move my car in the lot as I had about a hour left of my shift, so I saw no issue. When the owner found out and I explained why my car was there, they told me I had to move my car right now that it''s not a valid reason to park someplace else. 5. Homeless People: Not only do they talk down on the homeless people and call cops on them for no valid reason. Or even taking it into there own hands of yelling and swearing towards them. I have seen a few try to apply for any type of work there and the owner instantly trash there application not even looking at it. Another massive issue was myself and other fellow employees on occasion we would purchase extra snacks of coffee for the homeless to try and help out. Even though we purchased the items, we got yelled at being threatened to have hours cut back from our shift or even be fired if we continue to do so. 6. Sick Employees: They do not let you call out sick even with a doctor''s note. The owner''s will continue to guilt trip you into coming in as they will be "to short staff." The perfect resolution to them is having you work in the back so the customers can''t physically see you. Instead, they will have us cook the hot foods or make the coffee for customers to enjoy. Doesn''t matter if you have covid, the flu, or even food poisoning. I have plenty more stories and further details as does many other employees who still work here. I just wanted to give a few small examples of why I say they do not care for employees and only are money hungry individuals.
