Well, the shop is usually pretty cool … the guys are usually very nice and chill and the prices are low. But today I had to call the store because I bought a can of butane 2 days ago and I took it home, finding out that it’s defective. My first time ever using the can was today, where I went to fill my (empty) torches, and the butane sprays everywhere, even after I’ve purged the torches of air (this indicates that the tip of the butane can is defective). I tried using the adapters that the can comes with, none of them helped the problem. So naturally, I called the shop asking if they could please swap it out for another one seeing as how the product that they sold me (which I was unable to use, since the first time of trying to use it) was defective. It took me several minutes to get the employee that I was speaking with to understand this, and in the end, he just kept telling me “ well you’re the one that chose to buy this butane, we don’t sell defective products here, there’s nothing we can do, it’s used you used it so there’s nothing I can do.” I just don’t understand how that makes sense. If you buy something from a store and it’s defective, they should exchange it for you.. I’m not even asking for a refund. it was also very amusing to me that he told me that they wouldn’t have sold me something defective, ever, even though it was given to me sealed- how could he have known it was or wasnt defective if it was new.. and also why would you claim that it’s not possible to have a defective product? Factories make mistakes sometimes I told him this as well and he said it’s not his problem.. very disappointed about this, like I said, the people I usually talk to have always been very nice but this employee sounded like he was rolling his eyes the entire conversation, was very rude, and was telling me a policy that just doesn’t make sense at all.
Came in at almost closing time and my man was still there ready to help a brother out in a desperate time in need. To which he DELIVERED. I didn''t catch his name but I will be coming back again for both the amazing products and amazing customer service. If the manager knows who was working the early morning of August 6th, he should be commended and I have a receipt to prove it.

Great shop with cool dudes behind the counter. I wanted to join them while they played football on the play station. Got what I needed in and out with no fuss. I will surely go back again. Didn''t have butane but assured me he would tomorrow.
Other than the Adult Emporium, Sky High is the only smoke shop open past 12 midnight in the latest in the greater San Diego area. For that, I am eternally a follower and a fan. While there is an ample variety of items/ products, there are fewer selections available than at most other smoke shops with the same merchandise. There aren’t hardly any torches available except for those by scorch and it seems like most items are over priced. The employee working the night shift is extremely eager to get home and doesn’t take the time to answer questions as thoroughly as he should.
